A fun game, though it can be really laggy at times (flash 12 is at fault, not you, at least I think...) and there is little to NO info about many, many of the things in this game.

While many people (I count myself in this category) know what each stat does VERY basically, there is nothing telling you (or those who don't touch rpgs very often) what Str/End/Agl/Lck do, what the difference is between a an increase versus a boost to a given stat. There is also no info about what many of the weapon stats/levelling systems do. Damage is obvious, the bigger the better, but things like recoil, weapon fusion, why leveling the bank/shop matter, and the list goes on.

I also want to criticize the weight system. Why does EVERYTHING you possess count against your weight limit? "Oh, I bought this rifle, but I didn't equip it. Well, better lug it around with me in battle anyways!" My suggestion for this would be to only count what you take into battle against your weight limit. My next issue with this weight system is AMMO WEIGHS A TON! I understand carrying a bunch of ammo weighs you down, but with how much your rings weigh (god forbid you use any weapon addons... Not to mention the weapon itself.) It's a little excessive to me that a pistol bullet weighs more than an smg round, and weighs as much as a carbine round.

Finally, is it me, or is there no option to turn the graphics/effects down? It would be nice to be able to turn those things down when you're being swarmed by about 30 enemies at once, with at least half of them firing together. The graphics and sounds are decent, but again, sometimes we need to turn them down for those "thick of battle" moments.

On the good side of things, I really like the achievements. I really enjoy a game where achievements ACTUALLY MATTER by way of giving a small reward for doing them. The guns are nice and varied, with the carbine having the ability to alt shotgun/launcher making it even more of a good gun to carry. Also, the ability to buy more ad credits is really nice (when it pops up in the shop) for when you reaaallly want X enemy modifier or to fuse more weapons together. The "ads" sre nice in that you use them to also throw money at the player (in terms of money/credits floating about over the ads, making them less intrusive.) The shop selling what you just sold them has saved me twice so far, once selling my great pistol, and once when I accidentally sold instead of bought new grenades.

Overall, I give it a 4/5, And I hope to see more from you guys in the future.

A really good game, if I say so myself. I do have some creative critism (and some that's not so creative):

1. When upgrading gear, you have to click each piece for each character, and you can only upgrade what's equipped. I would like to suggest an "upgrade all" button, where if you have enough gold, it levels everything up a level for you (turns 32-36 clicks into 3, click upgrade all, confirm, leave blacksmiths, hehe.) if you don't want something boosted (money constraints or such) you could use the current system to unequip that specific item.

2. Exp scaling: This one drove me NUTS. I just beat Ultimate Dargon at Party level 28. When I finally beat his third form, I got ONE Exp point. ONE. After getting the ulti skills for my party (Omnislash, Typhoon, Outbreak, and Healing Water) I smashed Dargon, and promptly, at L25, rushed my way down to L50, laughing as I destroyed everything with ease (except Bunches. Blizzard HURTS.) I noticed that as the dungeon level got further ahead of my party level, exp sharply fell off until I got 1-3 xp a monster.

3. Gambling: using the same file (slot 2 instead of slot 1 though.) I used to beat Dargon, I decided for the hell of it, to waste all 2.3 Million coins I had on gambling. Not using it before I expected it to give me random items from white to orange rarity equal to what I had been finding on my rushed trip downwards to 50. Sadly that wasn't the case and I was bummed to find out it gives you items equal to your current level. I would like to suggest you make the items you gamble for equal to the furthest level down in the dungeon you've gone to. While this does make it easier for people who rush down like me, it's a double edged sword, as the further down you go the more it costs to gamble for items.

4. HP levels: I would think that a mage/rogue/healer, would end up with a lower max hp than a warrior, but my healer and rogue have more hp than the mage and warrior.

That's all my criticism. I absolutely LOVED the zombie defense game, even if I only beat expert like 6 times (can't feel my wrist after that, but the music was so catchy!), I loved the story, simple, with a good amount of laughs (I.e. I carried this fat guy around for nothing!?), the slime feeding idea was cool, but I didn't use it much (see: gambling issue) unless I had 5 high grades, those seeds are nice to have for random boosts. I especially liked the unique paths for each character, as in most games a rogue is a rogue, but here their elemental affinity makes them have different skills. (two healers may both have regen or harden all, but Healing Water is an awesome spell compared to Holy Light.)

...whew, lot of writing there. I look forward to the second installment of this game. Max score for this game.

Tripping all the way through a 18665, hehe.

A good game I "tripped" upon a few years ago, and have been trying to beat a measly 10k score I got in my first game. still playing it today and enjoying it as always. A simple, but effective timekiller.

It's good.

As said above, it's good.. but those rooms that seem to occur 85% of the time on level 2, with tons and tons of treasure you can't get (without a ladder), just ruins it for me. I would have bought a ladder, had I been able to get ANYTHING from the level. That or the RNG was just trolling me for 6 games in a row. Good music though.

D'awww...

I spent way too much time trying to score high on the speed runner and trying to run the game without dying, and I didn't get a single badge for it.

Anyhoo, awesome game, your daughter did great on her voice acting, enjoyed the combo reward system (every combo hit after 4 gaining 1 or more xp points) and the various Zelda II themes.. And did I happen to hear a "Ya-ta!" in there after grabbing some powerups?

Hmmm..

I'm quite disappointed in this one. Spamming a is about all you need to do, and press left or right every so often. No upgrades, same baddies each wave is fairly boring. I also don't like the attack system, in that if you hit a small guy 4-5 times, and uppercut a big guy, the big guy will die and the little ones are invulnerable, and the same if you do it in reverse (tested on level one, when I ran out of other targets I uppercut the air instead, they didn't die and managed to kill me instead. I hit the little things a good 400 times.) I also didn't really like the lack of any form of regen, even if it was as low as 1hp/1Sp every 2 rounds.

As a guy who seems to have one helluva knack for making awesome games that make hours fly, this one barely earns a 5/10 in my books. Music and graphics were good, but this (and Rufus Da demon) are the only two games that are... lacking.

*twitch twitch*

Ok, when death himself was guarding the secret area in the volcanic area.. I now know why.. It took me like 5 playthroughs and level 50 to even SURVIVE the final trio's attack, and even then it creamed me for 38k! It was a hard fight, but well worth the prizes. Awesome game Matt, I look forward to a fourth very eagerly!

Great music, story and play earns you a great score of a flawless 10!

Heh heh heh..

Yet another good game from you. I have to say you're one of the only artists who's come up with an idea that you don't have to tweak much to keep the game satisfying. I personally don't think you need to change much to keep this game at it's best. Story mode is a bit.. repeatitive at codec, level, codec, boss.. but standard is as good as ever. Pindestruco I didn't like very much, as it seems you were rushed into making it.. At any rate, I came here to rack up combos, and this game, as always, provides the fix I need. Well done.
